This week it’s all about Christmas! We will resume Language Arts and Math when we return after the holidays. The spirit of the season is in full bloom. The McDuffee family gave the book the Giving Manger to the class. Each time the children do a good deed, they get to add hay to Baby Jesus’ manger. Then Bruno Hubbard made a stable with his grandfather. He even asked me to pick out the stain color. Both are set up in the classroom. Please stop by to see these wonderful gifts. We have been blessed.
We are celebrating the third week of Advent. The pink candle symbolizes JOY. We rejoice in the coming of our savior Jesus. The children have a done a wonderful job learning about the Advent season. I have sent home their wreath, they can add the last candle next Sunday. Every morning we do daily intentions and some pray for…sick relatives, homeless, lost pets, relatives in heaven and siblings who are not nice all the time…it is the innocence of your children’s prayers that shows the goodness in all of us.
Chippy the Elf had an accident on Friday. He was knocked down from his hiding space. Hopefully he will be recovered by today. Wink Wink…
Please send in a durable bag so the children can bring home the gifts that they purchased and made for you. The sooner the better!

MYTHS AND FACTS!!
Please arrive by 6:00.
The church will be crowded, but…the Pre School classes will leave after their performance, freeing up seats before the Kindergarteners perform.
Invite everyone, if we have standing room only….we perform better with large crowds!
Ok…let you in on a secret, if a member of your family is going to film the performance they can move to where the Kindergarteners have vacated their seats. You can not stand in the aisle and take pictures. We will have a photographer present to take all the pictures with great views.
I will send home on Wednesday a chart of where your child will be standing on the altar so that you made find your seat on the correct side.
Enjoy the week! For us, we get to enjoy the wonder of the season through your child’s eyes!
