Grade 4 continued its study of vertebrates in Science class.
Before Christmas, they watched a video on the different regions of the backbone, and what the backbone does in the body. They then made a backbone out of lifesaver candy and wagon wheel pasta. The candy represented the vertebrae and the pasta served as the discs. They wrapped them up tight and made a bulletin board with them!
Thank you Ms. Fehr and Mrs. Maher for making science fun!
