The students of Saint Joseph School have been greeted daily with a "Remote Prayer" email sponsored by Grade 8 throughout this pandemic!
Amidst preparing for high school, serving Christian Service hours, and enjoying time with their Kindergarten buddies, eighth graders also play an important leadership role at Saint Joseph School.
One of their responsibilities is to lead morning prayer daily over the public announcement system. In this important role, the students read about the Saint of the Day, lead the Pledge of Allegiance, and wish birthday greetings to other students.
Remotely, this role was not lost! Each student has rotated through the weeks and written about their assigned "Daily Saint" for an English short writing assignment. They have explored the saint's life, works, and importance. A few examples of the "days" are included here.
Thank you to our eighth graders for your continuing leadership! We love you and we appreciate your devotion to our faith and our community!
