Dear grade 3 parents,
I hope that all of your families enjoyed a happy and healthy Christmas vacation. Our concert was absolutely wonderful and I am so proud of every third-grade student for their behavior at the concert as well as their wonderful singing and incredible bellringing! The St. Joseph school newsletter is jampacked and also includes a section of the Christmas concert videos. Please make sure that you get this week's copy of the newsletter from the school because it contains a myriad of information for the entire month.
As you know, Catholic schools week is a highlight of every Catholic school in the United States, and this year it begins on Sunday, January 26, 2020. There will be much more information in the future about this year's Catholic school week activities, but I just wanted to let you know in advance that you will be receiving from me later this week a detailed information packet for our annual grade 3 special language arts persuasive writing assignment project that will also include sample pictures of previous posters that decorated our first floor hallway. This is our only long-term third grade assignment and I am always so impressed with the beautiful posters that the children complete.
This year's theme is: Catholic schools: Learn. Succeed.
