I love being here at St. Joseph School!

Praise ye the Lord. Praise the Lord, O my soul.

While I live will I praise the Lord: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.

    Psalm 146

    King James Version (KJV)

Welcome to the new 2017-2018 school year!

My name is Ryan MaryAnne Hamelin, and I am a Google Certified Educator and licensed Middle School Teacher. I am extremely enthused to be in my sixth year here at St. Joseph's School.

I teach Social Studies for Grades 6, 7 and 8 as well as Religion to grades 6 and 7 and 8. I am also leading the special class "Technology Time" for Grades 6,7, and 8.
St. Joseph is a 1-1 Community and all of our students are issued Chromebooks.  Since I am a Google Certified Educator, I regularly instruct the students on various aspects of the G-Suite.  In keeping with our schools teaming philosophies, I use Technology Time to incorporate technology into all subject areas through project-based learning and frequently work on cross-curricular projects with the other middle school teachers.

YAY!  I'm excited for all students to learn through having some fun.

We are pleased to say that every middle school student here at St. Joseph's has been issued a Chrome Book which they can use both in and out of school for educational purposes.

In fact, all of my History Alive curriculum is online, which is very exciting! I try my best to have a fun, engaging classroom for all of my students.

This year in Social Studies we will be studying a variety of interesting topics which vary depending upon the grade level.

    6- Geography
    7- Ancient Civilizations
8 - US History through Civil War

Please note ***ALL OF MY HOMEWORK IS POSTED ON THE INDIVIDUAL GOOGLE CLASSROOMS FOR THE PARTICULAR CLASS**

I am an open communicator, please feel free to email me with any questions you may have.

    God Bless,
    Ryan Hamelin
